Above all, Miss Haley is a MOM!
As a mother of 4 under 4, Haley Ashcom Miller strives to engage her children in meaningful opportunities to learn. Kids LOVE to help; it gives them a sense of purpose and allows them to build confidence and pride in what they’ve accomplished.
Haley realized that although there are TROVES of great shows out there, there were a few gaps, especially with instructional cooking vidoes. Haley’s mom & dad taught Haley the basics of food, the navigating the kitchen and cooking as a little one, allowing her to feel empowered and creative in the kitchen for life. The rest evolved from there!
It is Haley’s hope that children will watch each episode and go on to apply what they’ve learned in the kitchen, in the craft room, around the house, in the playroom, and beyond! She believes in the positive power of the digital age, as it allows education to exist right at a child’s fingertips and with the press of a button. However she also believes that, just like books and the classroom, videos are a medium to taking information and applying it off-screen.
While the KidCorner YouTube channel is primarily for kids, Haley invites parents and adults to take part in her life through her Tik Tok, Instagram, and YouTube. Search Miss Haley IRL for a peek into her every day, which often includes the realness of parent-hood, colorful clothing and home decor style, a deep satisfaction in cleaning & organizing her space, easy recipes for a chaotic day-to-day, and messages of joy & hope to encourage positive mental health.
